For parents
How KinderSpotter works
Finding childcare usually means calling twenty centres to ask one question: do you have space? We asked the centres so you don't have to.
Step 1
Search licensed childcare near you
Enter a postal code, your child’s age and when you need care. Every listing is a licensed centre or home child care agency from that province’s open government dataset.
Step 2
See who actually has space
Providers confirm availability directly with KinderSpotter. You see “2 toddler spaces · confirmed today”, not a stale directory. After 30 days without confirmation we stop calling it confirmed.
Step 3
Create one family profile
Your child’s first name and birthdate, your schedule, postal code and preferences, entered once, reused for every request, waitlist and application.
Step 4
Request spots and join waitlists
One click from any profile. Track every application on a timeline: Applied → Reviewed → Waitlisted → Offered → Enrolled.
Step 5
Find Me a Spot
Tell us what care you need and we match every eligible provider within your radius. They see an anonymous summary and answer “I have a spot”, “Join our waitlist” or “Not available”. You decide who gets your details.
Step 6
Tour, accept an offer, enrol
Book a tour, receive a formal spot offer with a response deadline, and finish enrolment with the provider. We keep everyone on the same page.
